An interesting question, most of you will definitely not be able to answer it. Personally, I advise you to read an interesting article on this topic here . Any professional recruiter will tell you there is a difference. It's not just about responsibilities and areas of work, but also about different salary expectations. And also in many companies there are both job descriptions (for example, Google). The discrepancy is not large, but fundamental. If you understand the capabilities of both, you can hire the right person for the specific task.
