Do high-RTP casinos attract a different type of player?

Hi forum. I’ve noticed something interesting while reading discussions about casinos lately. Threads about bonuses and jackpots usually attract very emotional comments, while topics about RTP and fairness feel calmer and more analytical.
That made me wonder — do high-RTP casinos actually attract a different type of player? People who are more patient, more disciplined, or maybe just tired of aggressive casino mechanics? I’m asking because my own attitude toward gambling has changed over time. I care less about fast wins and more about understanding what I’m doing.
If anyone here has moved from classic casinos to platforms focused on high RTP, did you notice a difference not only in gameplay, but also in community, mindset, or even your own behavior? I’d like to know if this shift is just personal or part of a bigger trend.

I think you’re absolutely right — high-RTP platforms do attract a different audience. In my experience, players who care about RTP usually already went through the “bonus chasing” phase and learned some hard lessons.
When I started researching this topic, I came across https://rtp100.casino/ which focuses more on explanation than promotion. What I noticed is that people discussing these platforms tend to ask better questions and think long-term.
After switching to this approach myself, I became more patient and less reactive. Sessions felt calmer, and decisions felt more deliberate. It’s not that high RTP makes you a better player automatically, but it creates an environment where thoughtful play is possible. That alone changes the type of people who stay there.

Thanks for the insight, this actually explains a lot of what I’ve been observing.
