Re: What are the most dangerous roads in the U.S.?

The Mount Evans road in Colorado. It goes to the top of Mount Evans, west of Denver, and is the highest paved road in North America at 14,130 ft. There are no guard rails. If you are going too fast on the switchbacks and not paying attention, you could end up sailing through the air and landing in the trees a very long way below. The Engineer Pass road in the San Juan Mountains in southwest Colorado is another doozy. The roads are rutted jeep trails. Long drop-offs, no guard rails. Not for the faint-hearted.

Re: What are the most dangerous roads in the U.S.?

Greetings. I have been working as a trucker in the USA for several years now, and during this time I have become familiar with many dangerous roads. But most of all I learned about the most dangerous road for truckers https://logitydispatch.com/the-most-dangerous-roads-for-truckers-in-the-united-states/ from this article. It describes which routes are unsafe, and even explains why this route might be such a threat. You can also find out more useful information for truckers on the site.
