What is the point of NFT?
I understand in general terms how NFTs work, but I don't quite understand why it's needed?

I sometimes use NFT for the purpose of entertaining myself and friends. I draw funny pictures and then tokenize them with NFT. What's the humor, you ask? Because after that I Print NFT and give my friends a nice picture in a nice frame and tell them that they are holding a cryptographic asset. When they find out what's really there, then everyone is very, very happy, of course except for the one who is being teased. Although who knows, maybe after a while even my ridiculous creativity will be worth something.

Because it is a digital asset (token) issued on a blockchain platform, even though it is an electronic record in a database, thanks to special mathematical protections and the way blockchain technology works, these electronic records become a thing that can be transferred between owners - just as we transfer ordinary things from hand to hand. Only instead of hands, blockchain uses accounts.
