Tether is essentially the U.S. dollar in the crypto-world. Everyone is used to paying in dollars. Everyone is used to the dollar as an international currency. When trading with people from other countries, it is much easier to use the understandable unit of measurement - the dollar, the euro. Read more about this in this article
And so it is here - it is difficult to count the value of bitcoin in ether coins and vice versa, so Tezer is suitable for this as well as possible.

Tether is essentially the cryptographic essence of the U.S. dollar. A centralized cryptocurrency that was invented to give additional life to the U.S. currency in the event of a complete switch to crypto settlement. And plus it's convenient, everyone is already used to using the dollar as a standard
