The men and women who serve in the Israel Defense Forces do so bravely. The Jewish world owes them an incalculable amount of gratitude. We also owe a great deal to the brave Israelis who, by residing in Israel, protect our tiny nation-state for all Jews. And how much more so for individuals who have suffered critical injuries in terrorist acts. The Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans (FIDV) and Beit Halochem organizations are dedicated to providing care for Israeli service members who become disabled while performing their duties as well as for others whose lives have been destroyed by terrorism. In order to enable patients lead dignified, purposeful lives once again, Beit Halochem centers offer therapeutic, sporting, and recreational amenities.
