Facing Issues Installing and Downloading with IDM - Need Help
Hi everyone,I’m facing a couple of problems with Internet Download Manager (IDM) and could really use some help. Here’s the issue:

Initially, I had trouble installing IDM. The setup file wouldn’t run properly, and I kept getting an error message. After some troubleshooting (like disabling antivirus and running as admin), I managed to get it installed, but the process was frustrating.

Now that IDM is installed, I’m facing another issue — I can’t download videos from many websites. It worked fine for a while, but now when I try to download videos from sites like YouTube or Vimeo, IDM doesn’t catch the download link or shows an error. Has anyone else faced this?

i think you install IDM from a wrong website. Download this software from a trusted site.

If IDM is not detecting downloads, updating to the latest version, ensuring browser extensions are enabled and clearing the cache may help. Be careful when using unofficial sources, just like users must be careful in among us games, where security and trust are important factors.
