Hey guys! I’m new to the cryptocurrency space and keep hearing about "altcoins." I understand Bitcoin is the original cryptocurrency, but what makes these altcoins unique? Are they just copies of Bitcoin, or do they offer something different? Also, any advice for a beginner who wants to learn more about this would be much appreciated!

Altcoins are a huge part of the crypto world and definitely worth understanding! While Bitcoin is the first and most well-known, altcoins have emerged to address its limitations or target specific niches. For example, Ripple is focused on international payments, and Ethereum supports decentralized apps. If you’re looking for a solid introduction, I’d recommend checking out this article: . It explains the key differences between Bitcoin and altcoins and dives into their roles in the crypto ecosystem. It’s perfect for beginners who want to get a clear picture.
