Hi all. I have a question: has anyone been through a family dispute and a C100 form? My situation is like this - I live in different cities with my ex, and I see my daughter very rarely because the agreements are not respected. We tried to work things out amicably but it didn't work out. I was told that I need to file a C100 form, but I don't understand where to start. There's so much written on it and I want to get it right and not screw it up. It would be cool if someone could share their step by step experience.

I had a similar story a couple of years ago. I'm not British but was living in London at the time and was also trying to get in touch with my daughter. At first I thought court was tough, but it turned out to be just a way of sorting things out. I was intimidated by the paperwork, especially the C100 form. The items are complicated, it's not always clear what to write. Then I found this article - C100 Form. It really helped me to understand what to do step by step. Everything is laid out there - from how to fill it out to what to expect after submission. Without it, I would have been confused for sure, so if anyone is looking for specifics without the clerical stuff, this is a great resource.

I came across this discussion by chance. I have not faced such a situation myself, but I read it and realize how difficult it is for parents. Family disputes, especially when there are children, are always a sore subject. It is a pity that such processes are needed at all, but on the other hand, it is good that there are tools that can somehow help people to sort things out peacefully.
