When do I need a proxy?

I built a small script to monitor prices and visibility. I don't overload the server, I probably end up every 10 seconds or so.

FWIW I have about 10 proxies rotating right now. I only ask because I noticed I was getting blocked more often when using a proxy than when I first built/tested the script without a proxy, I wasn't getting blocked.
