Hey everyone, I'm working on a redesign for my business website and I feel like the current background is just... blah. It's a plain white and it makes the whole site feel generic. I want something that creates a better mood and makes the content pop, but I don't want it to be distracting. Does anyone have any tips or good resources for modern website background designs? What's working well right now?

I was in the exact same spot a few months ago! The website background designs is so crucial—it sets the entire tone before a user even reads a word. I found that moving away from a solid color made a huge difference. Things like subtle gradients, ultra-subtle texture patterns, or even a well-chosen, low-opacity image can add a ton of depth without being overwhelming.I actually found a fantastic guide that breaks it all down. It covers everything from choosing the right colors and textures to using video backgrounds effectively. It's a really comprehensive web design guide that helped me understand the why behind the choices. You should definitely check out this article on website background designs, it saved me a ton of time.
