The ability to play cheaply and anonymously online has been credited as a cause of the increase in popularity of Texas hold 'em. Online poker sites both allow people to try out games and also provide an avenue for entry into large tournaments via smaller tournaments known as satellites.

Poker is a family of card games that combines gambling, strategy, and skill. All poker variants involve betting as an intrinsic part of play, and determine the winner of each hand according to the combinations of players' cards, at least some of which remain hidden until the end of the hand. Poker games vary in the number of cards dealt, the number of shared or "community" cards, the number of cards that remain hidden, and the betting procedures.

yes this is terrible
and yes there will be ways for americans to play im sure.. but will the fish/not serious players bother to do that? no
meaning winning at online poker will be much harder from now on

Absolutely possible.
In any case, Im staying away from online poker. Its just not an interesting enough game without the face-to-face human element.

They don't call poker a mind sport for nothing. It really is. Favorite game. For as long as I can remember, I've been playing poker. Now, with the development of technology, I play poker online more and more often. It's exciting, too.
