There are a few settings that I would recommend for bo7 bot lobby if you use a controller.
Black Ops 7's best controller settings take into account the unusually high default sensitivities and other input settings to make sure you can control the important things. It can be difficult to understand the various accessibility features, assistive devices, and other options in Call of Duty today. Remember that my exact changes might not be optimal for you. However, they will give you a solid base to determine your best BO7 settings.
You can change your mmoset BO7 controller setting by pressing the menu button on your PS5 controller or Xbox controller. This is done while in a Black Ops 7 campaign mission, multiplayer match, Zombies Run, or even a lobby menu.
Click on the controller tab to open it:
Input Device
Aiming input device: Controller (If playing on a PC, with a controller and a mouse, you will want to set it manually to avoid interference from the keyboard and mouse).
Inputs:
Edit Button Layout : Tactical. (Message is now Circle/B, and Crouch is Right Stick. This allows you to make the most out of Black Ops 7’s sliding and diving movements.
Horizontal Stick Sensitivity : Adjust until it feels comfortable. (The default of 1.20 was too high for me, so I used 1.05)
Vertical Stick Sensitivity : As above.
Controller:
Deadzone Inputs: L2/LT/R2/RT Button Deadzone - Reduced to 3 or less. (This isn't going make much of a difference but you won't have to press the triggers so hard to fire or to ADS, which will give your shooting a more snappy feel)
Click on the Aiming Tab:
Aiming:
Use the Sensitivity Multiplexer > ADS Multiplier to adjust your ADS aim speed if you find it too slow or fast, but are happy with your Hipfire aim sensitivity. The multiplier can be increased to speed up ADS aiming, and decreased to slow it down.
Click on the Movement tab.
Intelligent Movement:
Corner Slice: Off If you find it annoying that your gun tilts as you approach corners, you can turn this setting off. Note that this is only a visual effect that does not affect your aim.
Click on the Combat Tab:
Combat Behaviors
You can have more control by applying only one armor plate when you hold down Triangle/Y. You can continue to hold Triangle/Y and keep applying the plates.
Combat Advanced Settings > Sprint cancels reload: On. (This option is optional, but the ability to cancel the reload by sprinting was a very useful feature in previous Call of Duty titles. You might want this in BO7. Double-tap Triangle/Y for reload cancellation.
You can make visual improvements by adjusting the Graphics settings in the Graphics menu.
Click on the Quality Tab:
World Motion Blur, Weapon Motion Blur : Off. (For a better picture, it is highly recommended that you turn these settings off. You might also want to turn Off Depth of Field.
Click on the View tab.
Field of view (FOV) : I find that the default setting of 90 degrees is good. However, if you are sitting near your display I would recommend increasing your FOV - I personally use 105.
You might also want to change the color of your Interface Element (Interface Settings menu > Readability > Color customization) if you find it difficult to read the minimap at a quick glance. Call of Duty: Black Ops' default colors aren't very vibrant. I changed them to brighter colors. For example, 'Team' is now a bright cyan instead of a plain, blue.
Once you've found the perfect settings, you should ensure that you are using the top-rated Black Ops 7 guns. If you're looking for a more comprehensive list, we have a complete list of Black Ops 7 weapons here.
